Please read these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) carefully before subscribing to our services.

Class Absence Policy

If you are unable to attend a class due to sickness, holiday or any other reason then you’re entitled to a make-up if available or a maximum of two credits at the start of the next term.

Cancellation of a class should be informed at least 2 hours prior the commencement of the class. Since our coaches travels to the class venue specifically, any cancellation made within 2 hours from the commencement of the class will be considered as a chargeable class. (Inclusive of not showing up at the scheduled class)

If your child has been diagnosed with an illness or ailment and is expected to be sick for a prolonged period, you should notify us at as early as possible. We may consider other options in our sole discretion, but have no obligation to offer more than two credits, make up classes per term, or any refunds.

Class Cancellations – Lightning , Thunder, and/or heavy rain.

In the event of heavy rain, lightning, thunder, or any combination of the foregoing, the coach may in his or her absolute discretion cancel the class. Such a decision may be made before or during the class. We will notify you as soon as possible if there is a cancellation, via the class WhatsApp group.

If a class is canceled, we will offer you a credit at the start of the next term or try and arrange a make-up class before the new term starts on a suitable alternative day, time or venue. Kindly check with us for the availability and the schedule of our coach for arrangement of a make-up class. Make-up classes are subjected to the availability of our coaches.

The instructor may, in his or her absolute discretion, decide to continue with the class if the rain is light, and there are no reports of lightning or thunder in Singapore.

Classes will be halted immediately if there are reports of lightning strikes in Singapore. In the event that lightning strikes or heavy rain lead to the cancellation of a class, we will offer you a credit of make-up class if less than 50% of the canceled class had been completed.

Class Cancellations – Haze Policy

SwimShark Pte Ltd follow the national guidelines for Haze as set out by the National Environment Agency (www.nea.gov.sg). The health impact of haze is dependent on one’s health status (e.g. whether one has pre-existing chronic heart or lung disease), the PSI (Pollutant Standards Index) level, and the duration and intensity of outdoor activity. Reducing outdoor activities and physical exertion can help limit the ill effects from haze exposure. If the index goes above 100 into the unhealthy zone we will notify you via the class WhatsApp group.

Payment Policy

Classes must be paid for in advance on a full-term basis. Payments must be received in full before your first class. If you join the term partway through the term the payment will be pro-rated.

Non-payment will result in a forfeiture of your allocated class slot(s). The slot(s) may, in our absolute discretion, be re-allocated to other existing clients or prospective clients on the waitlist.

Refund Policy

SwimShark Pte Ltd do not offer refunds for our services. There will be no refund once payment has been made.

Class Photos

Our coaches take photos of our students from time to time for sharing with parents and for potential promotional usage, which may include our website, Facebook and Instagram page, and flyers. If you object to a photo of your child being taken please inform us in writing by emailing to contact@swimshark.sg. Parents & helpers can take pictures of their own child only with the permission of the coach, as not to distract the class.

SwimShark Pte Ltd is fully insured. However by enrolling in SwimShark Pte Ltd services, you do so at your own risk, and SwimShark Pte Ltd, it’s owners, employees, and coaches will not be liable for personal injury, damage, loss of life or loss of property while attending our swimming classes, which includes all cost and expenses incurred as a result of such claims.

Changes to T&Cs

SwimShark Pte Ltd reserves the right to update the T&Cs as stated on this page from time to time. We will notify you if they do change and direct you to our website for an updated version.
